If anyone is looking for a cheap way to stock up on fine tobacco, this is where I go. For about $2000, I have gotten around $8000 worth of tobacco (MSRP). Great deals on both pipe tobacco and cigars. Of course, please support your B&M (brick and mortar) stores when able, but this is the cheapest way to fill your humidor. Note of caution; it is dangerous and slightly addicting. If anyone else knows of other good sites, post it!

I was on Cigarbid for a long time, around 2000 for many years.

You can get some good deals, the bids don't cost you money to make; but if you don't know what things cost, you can also overbid very easily--meaning you bid $7 for normally a $5 stick.

One thing I do not get is their shipping. I had $60 worth of shipping on a $600 order... It says that each unit is $5 unless ordering multiple... I have my shipping set up for Thursdays, and I have no clue how their shipping is calculated. Also, their boxes suck dick and are always delivered split in half. Checking your order item by item is a must.

i dont like them as everything comes dried out and no humipack options. you need to keep anything from them for at least a month in your own humidor before it's even smokeable.

Amen to that. I had a $700 order, and the paper thin boxes came destroyed. I have enough right now that it can age just fine. I have found I like my pipe tobacco more dried out, so it works out. I have smoked a few right out of the package. They weren't too bad, kind of dried out, but not unsmokable by any means. However, if it means saving $10 a stick I can wait. Who do you go with?

Yeah, I always bundle/ship on one day to save some money. Otherwise, it's $5 a pop, like you say. It's another way for them to make money. I wonder (as they're tied to Cigars International) how much they actually are paying for the sticks.

I don't you to dox yourself, I'm not going to, but we used to have regular meet ups. I had a few poker games and BBQ at my house, we met at a few bars....those were fun times, honestly.

So is it every day I buy something is only $1 per item after the first one, or is it every pouch is lumped together, every cigar pack, etc.? It is not clear at all. I need to start doing that. Unfortunately you cannot smoke indoors around where I live and patios are unusable this time of year.

Would love to import some pipe tobacco into Australia, but the kikes at customs would hold it hostage until I literally pay its weight in silver. 50grams of pipe tobacco is an average of $130 Australian.

What about as a gift? I send a sampler pack of Iowan whiskey to DE every Christmas. Customs hasn’t stopped me yet. That is unbelievably expensive! Hell, I get 50g for $5-$10 for the tins and $3-7 for pouches. https://pic8.co/sh/1TskSB.jpg

I forgot my cigarbig password, so i clicked the forgot password link. They emailed me a link to reset my password which just sends me to a page where i put in my email so they again send me the same link. An endless useless loop. What the fuck.

That is very weird. I did not have the issue, when I reset mine. Are you sure you're clicking on the right thing?

Its the only thing to click

Once I get home I’ll try it

Quality meaning it somehow doesn't cause cancer?

[–] 2 pts

Quality meaning it's not up to you if I enjoy a pipe or cigar once in a while.

[–] 1 pt

They all cause cancer. So does alcohol, lead from ammunition and the exhaust from motorcycles. Yet, I will love all 3. It’s a place where you can get name brand tobacco for cheap. For example, instead of $20 a stick for Monti Cristos, I got 50 of them for $202 instead of $800.

I was reading that in the 17 and 1800s Tobacco was used like a commodity. People could pay their taxes with their tobacco, they would use the lowest grade to pay taxes.

Doesnt it go stale?

If you have too much maybe mister metokur would split it with you.

That's what is cool about tobacco. If you keep it in a steady temperature at constant humidity (I like 65-70% for cigars, about 50% for most of my pipe tobacco) it actually ages like wine. Some cavendish blends don't age as well, but as a rule of thumb, most do. Not sure who Mister Metokur is.
