Please take a moment to silence your cellphone, quiet your mind, and pray in the fashion you best see fit.
Tonight, we pray for a Poal user who wishes to remain anonymous, and a situation that sounds quite troublesome and unclear; Due to the severity and nature of the situation, it will not be described either, but in their words, it is:
like we’ve fallen into a lions den and now we’re praying for their mouths to be shut so we can make it through the night
I think this brings us to an important point though; due to the nature of our consciousness and the Soul, we can only ever truly see the world from one perspective, and that is our own. We are necessarily blind to the troubles of others, and often have no idea about the trials and tribulations they are going through at any given time.
Due to the nature of the program I work for my alcoholism, I am privy to a bit more of peoples personal travesties than the average person.
I cannot elaborate on this more, other than to say that I am routinely shocked and horrified at the tragedies some people walk around with, and that you would never know had they not shared it with you in confidence.
In light of this, I would urge you to meditate on patience and perspective as you pray tonight. The next time you deal with a troublesome person, try to remember that we truly have no idea what is going on in their life.
Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
Luke 6:37
May God Bless Us All.
