I never thought about the rug in the living room. Large, of Persian design, well worn and dingy. Honestly it looked too heavy to move which is why it came with the house. The dog ran through and stopped on it, shifted it slightly, that’s when i noticed the white line now showing. Lifting it up revealed symbols I had never seen, and the floor was strangely out of focus inside the symbol.
