Chapter 7 Part 1

Empress Margaret V of Sarasland has been living her best life. She had finally made progress on her insecurities. She is now rightfully known as the sovereign of Sarasaland, not the pink one’s “best friend”. Margaret received a hero’s welcome from her citizenry.

She’s spent months around the world adventuring, no conquering. The former Princess now Empress made the world community recognize her as a serious player. She opened trade deals, most notably with the resource rich, untapped Kong Country. It embarrassed her to realize before Sarasland was practically a satellite state of the Mushroom kingdom. She had been failing her people.

Luckily she changed her person as she changed her wardrobe. No longer did she wear orange hued dresses modeled after country floozies. She was dressed to rule. Her orange changed into a simple military uniform without any decorations. Her crown had turned into a cap. Gold was for jewelry which was an Empress had no use for.

No matter. It’s good to ever dwell on the past, but she must rise above that. You can’t fly high if your fixated on the ground. She has corrected the past anyway. On her foreign episodes she even took one of the green girl’s few accomplishments from her, courtesy of a certain Professor.

She was a proud woman. An Empress of the prestigious Sarasaland. Her thoughts were wasted on little girls, pink princesses, and worthless brothers.

Margaret gave herself a calming breath. Some tea followed by a nap would soothe her.

“Prin- Empress!” The servant before her was flustered hoping not to be disciplined.

“Yes?”

“The Hero of the Mushroom Kingdom, Lucy, has requested an audience.” He pointedly averted her gaze.

First sheer shock settled into Margaret. Vertigo made her stomach flip. Then rage came coloring her vision red. Her fist clenched so tightly it almost drew blood. Finally it all passed and she was Empress Margaret V of Sarasland again.

“A commoner wants to meet Royalty?”

“Do you wish me to escort her away?”

“No, send her in. I’ll educate her on the contrast between a true blue blooded Royal and toe headed blondes.” The servant flew out of the room.
