A politician is always a self-interested *liar*, **without exception**. I'll trust a gangster and a warlord before I'll trust a man in a suit. The only difference between them is the warlord will stab you in the front and tell you to your face what he did to you. The politician will stab you in the back, and claim it was the *other guy*, while also saying he was "powerless to stop it from happening, but we'll get em next time."
