I know someone that worked at Kaiser that had a severe reaction to a flu shot, prior to the covid vaccine. The doctors could not determine what was happening and she almost died. A relative had to google the symptoms and convince them this is what was happening. They had to fly the medicine in from across the country because at that time the reaction was supposedly rare. I fear that if people do start having reactions they will not be diagnosed or treated properly.
