It's a hard question to answer. If shutting everything down was the right thing to do, we might never know. You can't prove how many weren't infected by these action, or show how many lives were saved. It is indeed all speculation.

He is right, we do know the economic damage, we also know this tosses the election into question. Economic strength was a strong point for Trump. Hard to run on that now.

Definitely a tough decision and one that, no matted what decisions Trump made, will be used against him in November.
Trump will still run on the economic boom before the virus hit. He can also run on the media's collusion (SWIDT?) in order to ruin the economy to weaken his reelection chances.

How in the world is that trump's fault? He's nothing to do with corona, if anything he's the man of the situation, he had an overall good going with the economy, he knows what bankruptcy is like, and if stupid judges didn't systematically get in his way for the last 4 years, borders would have been much less porous to begin with, and immigration vetted much more seriously

No no no, don't fall for the shitlib narrative, trump is as responsible for the corona as he is for the next asteroid, reality is that free for all open borders globalization left everyone completely open to corona, that's the reality here

You expect American voters to use logic? I hope so, but look how many already support idiots like Bernie and Biden.

Yup. The media and dems will continue to blame anything and everything on Trump. We've seen how they're throwing the racist card at him over just words, truth or not. The economy will undoubtedly be blamed on him as well.

Biden lol

Let's say that he won't die from a stroke before the election even start, for the sake of the argument

How in the world is he even going to be able to form a coherent phrase? Hm?

Seriously, he's toasted, he's degenerating it's obvious

...

Now people want biden in charge? In time of crisis?

No you don't. Because with what's to come, trust me not even biden wants the job, nobody does

It's a 600 pounds shitcake, there's nothing to gain in that fight, whoever is in charge it's going to be a world of hurt

Now that saner reactions were passed up, only insane overreactions can help the situation.
