At this point, marriage is just as a bad deal for women as it is for men. If you, as a woman marry a man who is disinclined to respect his vows and fathers a child with another woman, that woman can be awarded financial support through the civil courts that obligates both you and your husband to support the husbands bastard progeny. The only thing that makes marriage a bad deal is the governments involvement in it's administrators attempts to avoid unwanted financial obligation.
With one major exception I can think of that is legally significant, almost every institution of population control (see: theft, usually through taxation or usury) benefits two people living together forever unmarried - if only because by design or otherwise, that's the most favorable situation for most things that matter financially, legally, etc.
