I've committed myself to honesty, recently. No lying, ever again. That being said, I'll still say "no comment" if there's something I don't want to say.

It feels good. Dad asked me if I've ever vaped. I was uncomfortable, but I said yes. He then later asked if I've smoked weed, and I said yeah a few times. Those were the hardest to be honest about.

Concerning respect, a thought struck me that my siblings don't seem to respect me, which bothered me. I then realized that I wasn't respecting them. So, I tried respecting them, and lo and behold they've returned the favor.

Self-respect is another aspect of this. Some of y'all have seen my posts concerning porn, alcohol, junk food, etc. I have a new take on these: so long as I feel I am respecting my physical and mental health, then go for it. Example: I feel like I do not respect myself when I eat too many cookies. But I can still eat some while still being respectful to my health.

I like Molyneux's definition of love: "love is the involuntary response to virtue." Meaning that so long as a person possesses all the virtues you love, you'll love that person. So, how do people love their babies? They have no virtues, right? Wrong, they possess, in its truest form, purity. They've done nothing wrong. They are completely untainted by the evils and temptations of this world. For this reason, purity, to me, seems to be the most valuable virtue.

No more porn for me.
