And that's awesome man. Just be cautious; there is a ton of misinformation out there. That's what I like the website nutritionfacts.org and the youtube channel of the same name. The narrator, Dr. Greger, shows you the studies he's talking about.
There is a ton of mis information out there, on almost everything. Its crazy. It makes it kind of hard to sort through it all, did you know there is a south american tribe of people that don't even eat everyday. Its crazy people even argue about if you should or should not eat everyday. The more I look into it the more I think there isn't a standard diet that is perfect for every person.

High carb diet + probably not eating enough calories = very difficult to get heart disease
As for the last sentence, yeah I agree. Not for every person, but maybe the vast majority of people. I'd have to think about that more though
