I can respect that.
Back in 2019 I went to a drive in camp over Labor Day weekend with my son and we were kept up at 0330 by an asshole who drove in with his 5th wheel camper trailer and lifted, fart-pipe exhaust truck and took 15 minutes to back in, then for the next two hours, in the middle of the night you heard open and close of RV doors and truck doors. slam slam slam slam slam slam while his kids ran their mouths and made noise, while my tent was 10 meters away. There was garbage overflowing in all the trash cans, I had to listen to people's stupid ass "Billboard Top 20!!!" radio music, listen to their dogs barking, and hear car doors slamming and engines starting.
I had enough. Never again. I was so angry, so upset and so over dealing with other people that I decided after that trip I was done with public camping. After that I stumbled on Nagualero's (RIP) channel on YouTube and saw how he was Bushcraft camping in Sweden, with no noise, no other people, just silence other than "nature's soundtrack". I became obsessed and discovered Bushcraft literally through a YouTube algorithim
