My wife, 1 yo daughter and I just rented a cabin for a week in Marshall NC. Seen some great waterfalls and awesome trails. Also, like 1 nigger in 4 days. Not to bad.

It is beautiful for 4 months out of the year. But the rest of the time it's cold. The biggest fish you'll find are pike and/or musky in that lake.
Hard pass for me. I need sunshine, blue water, and fish that would use a 4 foot musky as a morning snack.

Winters are absolutely nothing, sometimes the snow sticks but most often melts the same day. I don't think I needed more than a sweatshirt last winter.

I love taking a nice heavy fibered dump in the wilderness. The smells of nature cohesively blend with the aromas of fecal matter and the waters provide an easy no wipe cleanse. It also supplies the local aquatic creatures and birds with foodstuffs.

Good! Get yourself a good patch growing!
Sometimes, if I find a bunch of small ones all growing together, I will dig a few up and transplant them to my little patch. It seems to help the seeds to come up if there is already some growing.
