Put a light burn on the handle, sanded it down then rubbed with boiled linseed oil.

That spot is better for squirrel hunting, there are a ton of deer around but they mainly use my trails.

Did you eat those shrooms? I can't tell for sure but I'm fairly confident that those mushrooms on that log are a variety that you can eat! If they are the ones I think they are then they are very good eating!
I think they may be oysters but I haven't identified that cluster yet, they've been there for awhile though.
It's almost time for morrels to pop up where I'm at and I can't wait!!!
