What is the point of an electric truck that can only tow 100 miles under load?

They don't want to make a 10,000lbs truck because of the batteries. But....they have to. They need to. If they are going to make an electric truck.

It's already over 8,000lbs.

Hummm...

First off, I'm assuming they hooked up a travel trailer and not an RV? Reading on, looks like it was a small camper. Yeah, that adds a lot of air resistance, never mind the weight.

Second, this will be a problem for any electric vehicle - but there is a potential solution. Add a supplementary battery pack to your trailer and a way to hook it up to the vehicle.
