First off, I'm assuming they hooked up a travel trailer and not an RV? Reading on, looks like it was a small camper. Yeah, that adds a lot of air resistance, never mind the weight.
Second, this will be a problem for any electric vehicle - but there is a potential solution. Add a supplementary battery pack to your trailer and a way to hook it up to the vehicle.
All-electric is full retard. Hybrid regeneratives are decent, though I'm somewhat worried about getting one due to the added complexity of parts & labor, and the battery packs wearing down.
we didn't even need to build it and test it to know that battery capabilities today wouldn't allow for real world use. but since we're controlled by communist cocksuckers who think with their pussified heart and have no idea how actual economies and businesses operate and there's no one with any balls in positions of power to call out the blatant bullshit this is what we get.
