This user, attempting to evade his ban and really testing even my great capacity for patience and flexibility, CONTACTED ME to say the following: "[The ban message] does provide a link to the list of banned users for that specific sub (/bannedusers) that shows if a ban is permanent or temporary."
So go to /bannedusers if you want to check your ban duration. There are no permabans anymore.
