I can't think of any reasons not to move to Texas (yet) but if the D's get permanent control of the Fed gov't then Texas should consider becoming it's own country.

When was in Dallas I met a Tejano, he is hispanic, but his family has owned land in the region since before the war between the states. He hates mexicans more than I could as they killed an honored ancestor. He's luke warm on the USA, but would defend Texas, i believed him.
