ICE vehicles do require planning too. EVs require a lot more planning though. If you don't do planning and maintenance on your ICE vehicles, then you will have a bad time when vital fluids and consumable parts need replacing. While your car may work reliably most of the time and in most conditions, you can't ignore the fact that they do require a lot of attention to run properly.
