The blackmail story is prominent because the ADL has actively tried to deplatform and censor PewDiePie in the past.

Yes sounds pretty on purpose at this point. Who knows lol, but yeah he's basically a comedian. If Chappelle did it you know it was at least in part for effect and humor/irony of it.
