Just in case you're in the same predicament. If you click on YT vids and they won't play, you just get a black screen with some words that say the video is not available, here is the fix. Just right click any video you want to watch, copy the link and paste it into the address bar. Has worked every time for me so far.

Use brave browser with uBlock origin lite. Works well.

If you don't like in-video ad's from the poster you can add "sponsor block" too. It relies on other people flagging sections of videos being sponsor reads and you can disable it for a poster that you don't want to block their reads but its nice too.

I had that for a hot minute in FF but I was transitioning to Ubuntu and had to reset shit a few times and lost that little nugget of goodness. Haven't figured out how to get it back.

These ads don't bother me as much as the political ads that run back to back or the Spanish speaking ads.

I use a Firefox fork alongside Ublock Origin and YouTube Redux (brings back the old jootube interface) and I have never had any issues.

I just use the brave browser. Every now and then jewtube gets froggy. Brave fixes in short order.

Firefox catches up after a couple of days. Might be the Ublock or something, I don't know. I've got Brave now too, haven't used it much yet though.

It's the shit. I run ublock origin, ghostery, etc but the brave browser just handles that shit. Ublock is more or less just a browser condom at this point. I do have a litany of custom rules but brave browser is stupid simple. Fucks youtube in the ass like the whore it is.

Firefox is a total pile of shit, its full of telemetry now, they Libre Wolf. Then load all your extensions.

I copy YouTube links and paste them into FreeTube (freetubeapp.io). YouTube occasionally breaks FreeTube, but they get it fixed within days.

jewtube constantly buffers videos and resets video quality on desktop. This sounds like a great solution. Thanks.

A simple refresh usually works for me.
