Fuck if I know why. Kept tripping off the UPS, like a short had developed. Even did the pin 16-17 jumper test on the motherboard cable to try to start it, after I ripped it out of the case.

What a pain in the ass. Not under warranty still.

oh yeah my 8 are old as fuck 2007 Westinghouse 22"ers but at least you can repair the caps on 'em. Capacitor Plague!

Heh, Big quality caps are hard to come by. I recommend pulling them and throwing them in a saline solution bath with .5 volts on two leads dangled in it and they will regrow the electrolytic solution inside if they are electrolyte based caps. If they are polymer base, find new ones.

edit: Oh, if they are leaking get new ones. No fix for the seal once they get the cotton candy juice out.
