Fuck if I know why. Kept tripping off the UPS, like a short had developed. Even did the pin 16-17 jumper test on the motherboard cable to try to start it, after I ripped it out of the case.

What’s the make/model?

I usually put my money on Corsair power supplies, they are built with quality capacitors (that’s what almost always fails).

I have a 2-cpu board, 2 ATI Radeon HD7990s pushing 9 monitors, 2 WD VelociRaptors... bunch of fans

Sure wasn't using all of its 1600W
