I did use brown sugar and added a quarter cup of Cocoa per suggestion and I also approve of that. It did not make it "chocolate" but it did give it just a hint of chocolate flavor. Thank you sir.

Agreed, just not chocolate chips in banana bread. I like my bread to be smooth and chewy with no lumps of any kind!

I usually melt/blend everything into a liquid paste and add flour/yeast/salt/melted butter/honey instead of sugar, and a little vanilla extract.
