I honestly found that my experience with the internet became a whole lot more pleasant (i.e. marginally more tolerable) when I started blocking any sort of vote buttons, like buttons, user scores, comment scores, and other such community-engagement-metric greebling.

It's called the submit comment button. If you disagree with a post or don't like it comment and make your argument. Don't be a low effort fag, down votes are for actual spam.
