I read something the other day that claimed prices would be dropping soon, as demand for fuel was faltering and demand for everything else (goods requiring transportation) was plummeting. Basically a Depression 2. I'll see if I can dig it up again...

I have been saying it for over a decade. I have brought it up here multiple times.
CA requires a very specific blend of gas that is only used in CA. They did this because they wanted to force it on the rest of the country. The rest of the country told them to fuck themselves.
Now, 2 refineries have closed in recent years because of the requirements and that they can only sell in CA. Now they are losing their fucking minds and have signed a emergency bill/act to allow non-CA (commie) gas to be sold in the state. Too little too late.
Fuck Commiefornia.
So? My AI predicted that Illinois will switch to an ethanol-based currency.
