Who make RAM, bugmen. Did their costs go up? Nope, not one single penny. Are they gaining the profit? Maybe a small fraction of it, but not any significant portion.
Who gains all that profit? US companies.
Who pays for it? 95% of everyone else on Earth.
Will it be $30 trillion? No, not close. But that isn't the point. Because the initial "payment" is by hyperscalers, AI datacenters etc. Those costs will be baked int o their 'product' (you, fellow bug people). It's the gift that keeps on stealing your information, selling your identity and giving your login information away.
