I got this last year for $79.99. Just a search shows it for 89.99 for the cheapest but some are showing 129.99. My guess is DDR5 is in more demand. I am planning an AM5 build soon and want 128GB DDR5 but I expect that to hurt a tad when I make the buy.
lol I got my 128 at 560, just after prices started skurocketing. Even ddr4 is much higher than it should be. It's a forced, planned lie to... I dunno, I have multiple theories.
What theory do you have? All I can come up with is tariffs. I don't see why the government would want stop PC builders. HP and Dell of course have a reason but the how many people actually build their own shit?
Prevent home labs, stop people from self--hosting their own LLM. "force" people into their controlled ecosystem.
