I may have to go back to not listening to the radio.

On a somewhat separate note my radio hiatus helped me unintentionally not listen to Stairway to Heaven for at least 5 years. Damn fine song overplayed though it may be.

Also fuck Queen and U2... Several others, but those are the main offenders

My brother-in-law was a DJ for 25 yrs. He tells me that there 500 songs out of millions that are played over and over because of demographics,etc. Program directors give you the playlist,that’s what you play.

Yeah, seems the days of DJs jockeying discs are long gone. I usually just do the Christian talk am station. It's a bit dry, but at least it's not the same old.
