The surgery went well as I mentioned, and she came out breathing on her own and angry - that told me everything was going to be just fine. The mass was malignant, and there's a smaller one on the other side but they don't think it's a concern - just a "monitor and watch" situation.

She spent two days in ICU a bit loopy, Monday she was fine and today they're sending her home - that's pretty remarkable in my opinion, considering they cut a hole in her head and cleaned out stuff.

I'm going to give her a call tomorrow, but I'm going to let them rest for a while and then I'll head over there. This has been quite the ordeal for the folks and they just need to go home, pull the blinds, and relax.

Again, everyone - thank you. It's difficult to express words for thoughts and well wishes that everyone offered, just know that they were most appreciated and I know that they were the invisible hands that helped guide us through this.

We might be a bunch of misogynist, racist, anti-semites but we're here if you need us. Also, I saw the headline use the word "Last" and got worried. I hope you meant to use "latest" instead.

Last probably was the wrong choice of words, but from here on out it's just recovery and therapy. She's going home probably a week sooner than we expected.

Yeah, that headline freaked me out, too! So glad she's on the mend.

Definitely take over some good homemade heat and eat food. I'm sure the last thing they want to do is expend energy cooking.
