Baby girl, she's 3 now, was helping me in the yard. I turn around, and there she is, pulling on some poison... My heart sank. "Stop, baby girl! That's itchy itchy Ichabod!" Her eyes well up, we run to the shower and I scrub her down for quite some time... Time will tell. I've warned her so many times about it. Infact I pointed out some new poison popping up in the back not more than a half hour prior...

Better TP than the Sears Catalog, from what I've been told.

Reminds me of the time my oldest brother peed on the electric fence. My next older brother didn't believe him, so he went next. I didn't believe either of them... Good genes.

Sometimes you just have to experience it for yourself.

I remember Mythbusters tested a similar thing back in the day. They determined that you would need to be "unrealistically close" to the electrified rail (or whatever other source) to receive a shock. I don't know how close would be realistic..

The theory is that the urine stream would break into droplets at some distance.

I don't remember how far away we were, I think it was just regular "I'm gonna pee on that" distance. A preteen with a full bladder can indeed produce a steady enough steam to receive a brief jolt of "well, that's a bad idea" to the penis. Luckily the stream does break up, it would not be fun to be locked on till the bladder empties.

A cloth with cold water on it changed out every few minutes will help a lot. The colder the better in my limited experience. I hope she is doing better.

We got a day or so before we find out if we cleaned her.

Use dawn dish soap, it's the only soap I've found strong enough to get all that oil. Scrub vigorously, with cold water.

If the rash appears make a thick oatmeal paste and coat the body. It will dry out the oil and soak it up. This is going the mostly natural route. Otherwise they make something that is guaranteed to dry it out overnight or your money back. It costs $20-30 at CVS. Forget the name off the top of my head. I get it whenever my kids get poison ivy on their faces. I take no chances of it getting into their eyes.

Oh yes yes yes. That's what I did. You gotta treat it like you've been working on a greate old engine.
