I sprayed ants on my desk with windex.
Yesterday after eating an avocado I left a spoon on a paper on my desk. No crap left on spoon but the avocado smell somehow got the ants excited enough to find a way into the house. They were at least 20 checking out the spoon. I sprayed them with windex, they stopped moving and were little black crumbs. I left it to dry. This morning, all gone. Nothing on the paper, nothing on the spoon. The damned ants came back sometime in the night to carry off their dead.
