I had to search internet and found Target sells "Eckrich Polska Kielbasa Skinless Smoked Sausage Rope". If you go to Target instead of a deli, you really do know that what you're getting is a big hot dog.

Sounds so gross. I like making kielbasa and cabbage and I couldn't imagine it with mushy hot doggy kielbasa.

You mean like doktorskaya? That's the staple in Russia and it doesn't look weird if you grew up with it, I guess it must be quite the cultural shock for anybody else.

I've never tried doktorskaya. The product was Eckrich Skinless Polska Kielbasa Rope.
