I'm sorry to hear that. I've lost few that I tried to save over the years, it sucks when they don't make it, but great joy when they do. What you have learned by trying to care for it can be applied to the next injured bird you might encounter.

Aww. Thank you for trying. Birds are hard. After the baby pigeons I keep some emergency bird food in the freezer, just in case.
