I'd argue no one should have a right to nuclear weapons but that isn't the world we live in.

The development of the atomic bomb really put warfare in a wack place, just due to the nature of asymmetry it represented. Funny how we all stick to "conventional" ways of killing for 80 years despite having the bomb. Still, nations seek the asymmetry itself (drones, cyberwar).

If a nation can steal or build the tech itself, I say they earn the right to it. Supremely unjust for the USA to just say "we did it but no you cannot".

I think the longer you let pressure build the worse the explosion. Someone will drop a nuke in our lifetimes and it's about time these generations learn why we don't use them. No amount of documentaries can change minds better than reality.
