I think I mentioned this before. I went for lunch to a sandwich shop years ago with others from my work. muslim arab owned place. I ordered a sandwich with a side of fries. I got a sandwich with a side of rice.

No muslims around here. This store is owned by an elderly Italian couple. They have a son and two daughters helping them out.

Roast beef (rare) on a Kaiser roll with lettuce, tomato, salt, pepper, and a wee bit of oil & vinegar.

If I was ordering it myself I would have asked for mayo instead of the O&V, but it was very tasty.

Aw dammit, I dated myself. That's an animated short from an old PC game called Team Fortress 2. They made a bunch of stupid funny videos introducing the playable team members, and one was a russian-accented heavy weapons guy who loved sandwiches. That doesn't really explain it, but I'm terrible at explaining jokes lol
