"Pull-her-down syndrome". It's simple malicious envy but since White women are the peak of feminine beauty and desirability anyone who tries to study it just ends up with results that are too 'racist' for them to accept. So it's twisted around and presented as being the fault of the patriarchy.

Thank you so much for that. Adds quite a bit of legitimacy I was missing with my post. I didn't save the bit about the first link (study) you shared when I saw it but wish I had. Long hair has been a thing for White women for actual thousands of years.
