You voted hard enough. Congratulations. You sure got us good.

Jokes aside, I would advise to stay cautious. Something still smells fishy as the smoke clears.

At least the cheap gas will be nice.

Beware downballot fuckery as they attempt to steal what they can while the window of opportunity is open. Republicans essentially win the house and senate but senate margins are thin.

Already fuckery in Wisconsin Senate, Duckworth took the lead overnight in a state that's got Trump up by a decent margin. When I went to bed at midnight, Milwaukee county was still 50% reported.

I noted this also.

Prepare and educate, Fren.

There's a difference between winning office and having power.

Games not over just because trump got elected. Need to push down that bullshit policy for green cards on diplomas. Demand the shit from 2016. Drain swamp justice. Mass deportations and build the fucking wall. Election security. Campaign financing laws. Lobbying restrictions from foreign governments. Then the big problem of spending. Reduce government jobs. Tariffs like a motherfucker. Bring manufacturing back. And self sufficient energy.

I don't see any reason the deep state would stop trying to kill trump. Does the presidency go to Vance if Trump dies?

Yes, but would he be allowed to take the office. Look at all the judicial fuckery that's taken place the last 4 years. Look at what they did to Biden. I think they push Vance out "legally"

Yes. https://www.usa.gov/presidential-succession

That starts once they're sworn in.

If they kill Trump between now and the Electoral College vote, the RNC has the right to submit an alternate candidate to replace him. That would likely be Vance. Then the EC could either vote for Vance, or they could vote for another candidate altogether, since the 'faithless elector' rules would no longer apply (in the case of the states that have them).

If they kill Trump between the EC vote and the certification of the results, the election goes to Congress. The House could chose to certify Vance, but the Senate would have to agree. Since the new Congress is sworn in before the President, what happens depends on who is in the majority in both chambers. The Republicans now have a slight majority in the Senate, and a slightly larger one in the House, so they'd likely pick Vance.

If they kill Trump between the certification of the results and the inauguration, the 20th Amendment kicks in.

Section 3 If, at the time fixed for the beginning of the term of the President, the President elect shall have died, the Vice President elect shall become President.

Cool so we get the wall and no Middle East wars now, right? Awesome. I love it when things work out.
