Got a hot tip from the neighbor that the kitchen door used to be where the fridge is. I popped the seam on a run of the vinyl siding and see some tar paper over OSB. Go inside, pull out the fridge, and cut a few test holes. There's the a nice uninsulated plywood door with daylight shining through edges and a nice big hole where they ran some electric. There was an old, maybe half used can of spray foam in the gap, foam around the outlets, and a bead on the sheetrock seams. Luckily I had some extra insulation and foam on hand. Filled the gaps in the old plaster around the door frame and doorframe to OSB. Put in some insulation, and then rather than putting drywall back i closed it off with some foam board for the time being. It didn't get too cold last night, but I think it worked.
