Gun control has been the objective for a long time. It has always been something the left/Dems have pushed. This is the perfect scenario to get the right/repubs on board with it. Trump and other right wing conservatives will probably soon come out and say something to the effect of "in the past we have always been pro 2nd amendment, pro gun, etc, but now things have gone too far. The American people are no longer safe. They can't even attend peaceful rallies. We need to protect our citizens! We need to crack down on gun ownership....." And the maga hats plebs will eat it up because it is coming from the mouth of their savior. Perfect, now you get everyone in favor of gun control regardless of left or right. Makes it that much easier to move to the next step

There will be a few, of course. There always has been. But not on any large scale. It will be quite the opposite. Lot's of people saw what was happening and could have taken action to prevent what happened. Of course I am not saying that they will suddenly allow people to start packing guns at rallies and such but there will still be people who think they should. Those ranks will grow. No need to argue about it though. You will soon enough see that you are not correct other than a few on the fringe.

Yep not arguing with you. Just discussing. I'm thinking they will probably pretend like gun control is what the masses (including the right) want. Whether or not the masses actually do is not important. They control the narrative and the media. They'll make it look however they want it to look, pass whatever law they want, and everyone (most) will fall in line and do as they're told.
