Well he’s long dead now. The reason he sold it, to pay cancer bills. So essentially they recovered all of it. Can’t get more American than that these days can you?

Spend your life's savings, sell off everything you have, die of some medical condition anyway that you had to pay everything for. Yep, sounds like 'murka.
