I like to take $100s to Micro Center when I'm making a big purchase. They don't like to take them and I tell them "Look, I just dropped a big deal downtown and that's what the junkies had. You want my money or not?"

[–] 1 pt

Hahaha! You had me at microcenter. I did something similar 20 years ago - had HR Block cash my refund right there.. half a grand in 20s - it was hilarious.

lol nice. Did that when I paid my first new car off. $8000 in 20s.

Years ago sold a Minelab 7000 metal detector to some over the border taconiggers for $10,000 for a friend. They paid in $20 bills. The money smelled strongly of mildew so had obviously been vacuum packed and stored in a damp place. Took an hour to get the bills separated to be able to count it out. Hard to say if they found buried cartel money or worked for them. They weren’t dressed like narcos and were none too bright. Who knows. They did however show pics on their phones of the gold they were getting down there. Holy shit, multi ounce nuggets and lots of them! There’s been a lot of gold being found down very quietly there in the last few years.

where the fuck do you find things for sale that are less than $100?

Goyslop drive thru, mom and pop sandwich shops/convenience stores, etc. When it's f'ing hot like today (95F in town/"feelz like" temp of 104F), I prefer something like a cold sub for lunch, but a burger will suffice. I live in the sticks...

Oh ok. I dont visit restaurants

If you have a casino near you, they are great places to break large bills or get change if you need some rolls of quarters for example. Open late and generally very safe, no need to worry about getting mugged like an ATM.

There is one about an hour away. Too far round trip.

[–] 1 pt

Laundry place maybe? If a better idea pops in my head, I'll come back and post it.

[–] 0 pt

Lol! $100 in quarters! God NO!

Another. Federal. Holiday.

[–] 1 pt

You should have given it to a black man.

[–] 0 pt

Muh lunch money? NFW!

Actually didn't see one black on my errands in town today. I wanted to help spread the joy "Happy Nigger Day!", Nigger.

My bet is Juneteenth becomes a white woman’s holiday. Especially because most blacks already have the day off.

[–] 1 pt

Sounds like humble bragging to me!! lol :)

[–] 1 pt

Yea, I noticed that too.

How are you celebrating juneteenth? Raping, looting, shoplifting, murder, punching bystanders?

[–] 1 pt

I don't celebrate it. I am to Juneteenth as the Grinch is to Christmas.

Plus, it's too damn hot here for most of those Juneteenth activities.

[–] 1 pt

I had this realization earlier. Clown country.

Post office was closed, I forget these dumb holidays, I work almost all the time so sometimes I don’t know what day of the week it is, let alone stupid new bank holidays.

There was a day my state, Maine, didn't recognize Martin Luther King Day but did recognize Washington's and Lincoln's birthdays, separately.

Any place that has a self-checkout will generally take a $100, even if you're making a small purchase.

Buy a drink and pay with $100.

I bought a cold sandwich and milk on my credit card, so I won't starve today. Plus it's hotter'n hades here today, 95F real temp and a claimed "feelz like temp" of 104F. F#ck'em all, I'll take my cash and go home.

[–] 1 pt

White people problems.

ATM maybe? Those dispense $20s and $50s.

[–] 1 pt (edited )

Nope, no atm cards for me. I used my credit card to buy a cold sandwich and a couple of gallons of milk ... so I won't starve today. On top of all that, the real temperature in-town was 95F (they claim the "feelz like" temperature is 104F), tourist traffic was insane. Too much bullshit, I'm staying home the rest of the day. F#ck'em all, I'll keep my $100s in my wallet.
