I've been involved in dairy farming, potato farming, I've managed an organic cow-calf operation, I've managed an hydroponic vegetable / culinary herb farm, I've managed the quality control department for the largest independent produce importer in Florida (where my responsibilities extended into several countries besides the US), I've managed the installation of a peach tree orchard, the trees and the irrigation system. I've also been involved in operations which raised ducks, pheasants, ginseng and some stuff that grows pretty well in the Emerald Triangle. I was even a judge for a number of Grower's Cups up there. I almost purchased a tangerine grove in South Texas which also produced watermelons and vegetables. (FmHA wouldn't give me good enough terms so I passed.)
