A young guy who a witness said had been weaving all over the road behind them came around the blind curve on the wrong side of the road and hit an older guy coming the other way at about 6:40AM. I heard the crash and ran out to help.

Looks like minor injuries but both were taken away by ambulance.

I didn't even have time to drink my first coffee this morning.

Too much drama.

Also, go grab some coffee

Am at the end of the 2nd cup, and going back for more!

Yes, that sound brings a sick feeling ... of what will be seen when you get to the source. Fortunately they were only doing 35-40MPH when it happened. It was a Ford and a Dodge, perfect head on nose to nose. Pro-Tip - the Ford truck and driver came out of it in slightly better shape than the Dodge and driver. Shit in the back of the Ford went through his rear window, caved the back of the cab. The guy was a mason, had bags of cement, a generator and tools in the bed of his truck. Lucky it was a crew cab so they didn't hit him in the back of the head.

I've been in and witnessed too many crashes to not flinch when I hear that sound.

My first emotion upon hearing it this morning was WTF was THAT!?, then the dread of what I might find. I was in one major car accident in my life long, long ago, so it's still a relatively unfamiliar sound to me. This accident had no squeal of brakes, just the crash ... and silence. Surreal.

Oh yeah, you said it was at a blind corner. Imagine being the person on the correct side of the road and coming face to face with another car.
