I can rack up $400+ at the 'discount grocer', no problem. That's 2 weeks for 3 people worth, if we stretch it!

About 9.50 a day per person. Not bad.

I don't really know how much I spend tbh, and it would be hard to track since I buy a lot of bulk stuff at BJ's and Costco. So I might spend a lot one week, but those products will last for a month or more sometimes.

Oh that's just at the cheap store, then I go across to the regular grocer and spend another couple hundred or so, to get whatever else I need.

I do try to do a little stocking of canned and frozen goods, plus extra meat to freeze, every shopping trip, so I spend probably, all told, between $1,000-$2,000/mo. Just bonkers!
