TL;DR: God of the Bible is the one and only God, Almighty, Creator. Bible has been manipulated by man, of course, but the Bible remains in a state that still allows man to seek and find Him through His Word. God is physical. He is a being who sits enthroned above the firmament of His creation. There is no metaphysical soul or realm of souls, like most people believe. I am a Biblical materialist. Jesus Christ, Yeshua Messia, is the only begotten Son of God, and the instrument by which God created the earth and everything in it. Christ is not God. There is no "trinity". Christ lived as a man and died for the sins of the lost sheep of the tribe of Israel. He was buried and after three days he was resurrected on the Sabbath (Saturday) and later ascended into heaven to sit at the right hand of the throne of God Almighty.
This is generally a good breakdown of what I believe: http://southernprotestant.com/about.html
Read the "Beginner Level" pdf for an overview. If you really want to go deep, you can read the larger catechism.
Salvation is not attained through mystic trance with “the absolute” or a personal relationship with Jesus, which Judas himself possessed, but belief in the words of God. (John 6:29, 6:63, 5:45-472) Thus, true biblical spirituality is academic
Interesting, it truly does not mesh well with my current theology.
Is your faith in this doctrine 100%?
it truly does not mesh well with my current theology.
It doesn't mesh with about 99% of peoples theology today. These are the desired ends of the ruling elite's purpose.
My faith in God is 100%. Seek a personal relationship with Him and the rest follows. He will teach you in the ways you should walk.
So far, from the above catechism I sent you, I have not found anything I disagree with. However, I have not studied the catechism in the greatest of detail, so I cannot attest to it 100%.
