Yall seriously do. I get it. Probably everyone here was on Reddit at one point or another. I would wager most were on Voat as well. I remember when I first got my account deleted from Reddit. It was a few months after the fattening, a few months after I made my first Voat account. I'll never know what comment or post caused my account to get deleted. It could've been so many. But I was certainly saying something that was simultaneously rude and true. In those times, I want to say 2014, while Reddit was still gay, it was far less gay than it is today. It still held onto the tenuous thesis that it was a "Free Speech" website, although those tenets were being rapidly, and purposefully, eroded from (((certain))) factions. Back then it made sense to say something that was hateful and truthful. They always removed the comment, or banned the account, not because it was untrue, but because it was hateful. So I, like many of you, carried on making hateful and/or truthful comments and posts when I full migrated to Voat. Calling another user a faggot, calling them a nigger, or just generally trying to get their goat was a test; it separated the wheat from the chaff. After all, it was a relatively large, anonymous website at first; we needed to find out who could really hang, and who would simply get upset over a few naughty words. But eventually I got banned from Voat, and it shut down afterwards. And through one path or another, we all wound up on Poal, continuing our cultural legacy of spewing mindless and mindful venom at anyone who crossed out path. But Poal in 2024 ain't 2014 Reddit, and it ain't 2018 Voat. Poal is a small website, with most active users knowing each other by username, if not actual real life name. I call a few folks on here regularly. I have met a few of you in person, and I won't go into the myriad details I know about some of your lives, but yall are fucked up. Regardless, Poal as is stands right now is a small and cohesive, yet retarded community. Everyone kind of knows everyone else. This is why yall take it too far. Yall are bringing 2014 Reddit habits and 2018 Voat habits to 2024 Poal. There aren't that many of us left here. Especially not a lot of original voices. There are tons of people who will post news, post memes, et cetera, but people who make original posts? Probably 15 or so users who do so on a regular basis. So I think that yall should be aware, ganging up on one of those users, for no clear good reason, other than he was an old and retarded hick... We now have 14 users who consistently post original content. This website will keep on getting smaller and smaller, and narrower and narrower, until it is just me, a Simo alt, an @eggplant alt, @stabem, and @AOU, all together. And a @stupidbird Cock-a-Doo-Da-Doodling for us all to wake the fuck up.
