It is among the Ubermensch.
Started using it as a truck driver when filling out my paperwork. My ex-wife and sister are RNs and use it too. Just got used to it and never went back. Now prefer it with a digital clock face.
I run everything by 24-hour time, regardless of who I am speaking to. I will clarify if asked, otherwise I will leave it to the receiving party to do the math. I do however, always specify time zones.
TIL Zulu is another word for 24-hour time
There's a subtle difference. You often need to reference a time zone when using 24-hour time. As in "it's 14:09 EDT." Zulu time is always used in 24-hour format and is always a reference to UTC. As in 18:09 Zulu.
Both are using the 24-hour format.
neat
one reason I do not default to UTC or Zulu is that it doesn't account for daylight savings outside of manually adding 'UTC-5' or whatever zone you're in relative to daylight savings; so I just go with 24-hour notation with zone - 1414 EDT
I do 24 hr. I still get tossed at 00:15
You can do everything in 24-hour time yourself. You don't need us to participate.
But it helps.
But it helps
Same can be said about the tranny delusions. We shouldn't help that either.
bless your heart
I use it on my devices but it doesn't bother me to use 12 hour format for conversation.
Yeah, and do away with the government making us change the time twice a year just to remind us of who is in charge...
