I make very little but have the potential to make so much. It is all a matter of staying sane and having a good attitude. However, I cannot stay sane and have a terrible attitude. Earlier this year I came very close to closing a deal that would've amounted to well over a quarter of the companies yearly revenue. But close only counts in horse shoes and hand grenades. I think this is why they keep me around. They pay me shit, and can continue to pay me shit, because I am cheap, but have the potential to bring in so much when I am sane and have a good attitude. I know for a fact that I am not currently bringing in enough to justify my job existing. But they know that I am smart, and I can do certain technical things that would normally require an employee with certain technical certifications that they would have to pay more. It is a very strange situation that I will be in for the foreseeable future.
