I guess. I tried it once, didn't do anything.
I thought the first time I did too. It's a proactive drug since it's main property is anti-inflammatory. So on my desk nights, or during summer on heavy haul days, if I take some right when I sit down for the night, it reduces the stiffness and pain by maybe 25%. It still hurts, but not as much. Might be all in my head, dunno, but popping asprin or advil is probably much worse for me.
I guess I need to start growing my own meadowsweets to make painkillers.
Did you leave it under your tongue or just swallow?
Sublingual absorption is better than gastric unless you take a high dose integrated into food/gummies.
This was a smoked variant. The potency of the liquid was supposed to be fairly high, but who knows for sure.
I've never smoked it, do you smoke tobacco?
I ask because it seems CBD down regulates cortisol and I suspect nicotine likely causes a small cortisol response resembling the food response.
It's also likely non THC cannabinoids are responsible for the stress response in low CBD strains of pot and so those being present in your bloodstream might be soaking the effects of CBD.
CBD has a subtle effect but it's more noticeable if you dose it like a psych med, every day, a consistent time and dose no exceptions.
