Sublingual absorption is better than gastric unless you take a high dose integrated into food/gummies.

I ask because it seems CBD down regulates cortisol and I suspect nicotine likely causes a small cortisol response resembling the food response.
It's also likely non THC cannabinoids are responsible for the stress response in low CBD strains of pot and so those being present in your bloodstream might be soaking the effects of CBD.
CBD has a subtle effect but it's more noticeable if you dose it like a psych med, every day, a consistent time and dose no exceptions.
No, I don't smoke at all save that one time with the CBD vape, and the time I tried three whole marijuanas and didn't inhale but died anyway.
